Gaby arrived safely in England just over a week ago and settled in
straight away,
no problem with the other dogs, she gets on great with all of them,
although she couldn't
work out the little people at first but she is fine now. Her temperament
is outstanding
and we can not believe she has only been here a week. She went to her
first show on
Saturday and again on Sunday
with results as follows;

A bit late this week due to changing our web provider, bank holiday
weekend
and Callum's 14th birthday on Monday, so it has been a bit hectic.
The pups are doing really well, Lina has been a fantastic mom to them.
They are now out of the whelping box and having a good explore of
everything

More fun and games with our imports, seems the previous
foster home overcharged us,
not content with that, they have also asked for more money or they will
not give us back
her passport!
Luckily it is not a problem as we have all the paper work to get a new
one.
IF ANY ONE IS THINKING OF IMPORTING A DOG PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE CORRUPT
PEOPLE OUT THERE WAITING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE, WE WERE LUCKY, WE HAVE
HEARD OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO COULD NOT GET THEIR DOGS BACK WITHOUT
PAYING CHARGES NOT AGREED ON.

Paul went to Belgium at the weekend to pick up our new Laekenois
It did not go quite as planned.
After deciding to move gaby, and take the new puppy (Ghia) to stay
with the
GAINDYKE DOBERMANNS,
in France, (until their pet passports become valid)all was going
smoothly until he arrived at their new home, Paul took Gaby from
the van and decided
to let her stretch her legs after the long journey, as he did her collar
broke, and being in
strange surroundings she opted to jump the fence and check them out for
herself, luckily
they live in a rural area so there were no roads to worry about, however
not knowing any
familiar faces she would not be caught, as it was getting dark, everyone
began to panic,
after frantic phone calls to her previous carers they thankfully agreed
to drive the one and
half hours up to them, but by now everyone had lost sight of her and the
temperature had
dropped drastically, after they arrived they searched for her but to no
avail, we almost
gave up hope then all of a sudden her old pal, a Groenendael came
trotting round the corner
with her.
You can not imagine the relief, she was gone for six hours.
However after a good nights sleep she awoke none the worse for her
little adventure and
has now settled into her new home with ease, and after only three days
is now being let of
the lead to play with the other dogs, a credit to her temperament and
her breeders.
Ghia, she was ruling the home within minutes.
